Rumiko wears his golden blond hair long, with a pony tail that is usually tied in a braid which reaches a little pass his shoulders. His bangs are pretty long as well and are parted to the side, showing his face and forehead with a small strand of hair the sticks up in the middle above his forehead. His hair almost completely covers his ears and strands of hair tend to fall in front of his face and eyes a lot.

His body is pretty muscular, with a toned out stomach and arms, thanks to all the exercising and training he does. The skin on his face is a tannish color and despite the fact that he normally doesn't reveal his skin because of the clothing he wears, the color blends in perfectly with the other parts of his body.

Rumiko is usually seen wearing a bright red, long-sleeved, hooded cloak and black pants. At his waist, is a wide brown leather belt and underneath his cloak is a sleeveless black collared shirt (with the collar unfolded). At his feet he has black leather boots with with thin, red soles. He also wears white gloves on his hands.

In colder climates he wears a different red cloak with a white fur trim around the hood to accommodate comfortable passage through the cold conditions. In hotter climates, he is sometimes seen without his cloak, revealing his sleeveless, black shirt. He wears his headband on his neck.

Personality:

Rumiko has a mixed personality really. He can be immature at times for his age. He is decidedly stubborn and strong-willed, and usually lets his feelings get the better of him. He is a little selfish and self-absorbed, only taking on anything that interests him really. He takes several opportunities to stroke his own ego at times or flaunt the fact that he is a shinobi. He won’t follow orders if he feels he disagrees with them no matter what level of authority is giving the orders.

He is also rather quick-tempered, resorting more often to steel-fisted violence than calm negotiation to settle disputes. He also has a reputation of being foul-mouthed and sarcastic. He has also displayed that he can’t sit still for too long either. For the people he cares about deeply, he’ll show unflinching loyalty and great compassion for. Because of the fact that he has suffered a lot as a child, Rumiko sympathizes with people who suffer or are suffering. Though his solemn advice to such people is often tempered with brusque criticism, it is only because he genuinely wishes to place them on the most direct path forward.

Rumiko’s aesthetic sensibilities are quite twisted in that he is a great fan of gothic or macabre fixtures and will usually transmute decorations filled with monstrous or demonic imagery and unnecessarily gaudy details, much to the dismay of anyone who receives a gift or service from him.

History:

Childhood Arc (12-13 Years Old)

Rumiko’s days before he was a shinobi were normal ones to say in the least. He got into trouble a lot by his peers and parents because of his inability to keep his mouth shut at times, but he didn’t care. He didn’t do it for attention. He just liked to speak his mind. He would spend his days the same way any adventurous kid would. He would travel all around the village in search for new hiding places and secret locations. And when he wasn’t doing that, he’d flirt with girls no matter what the age.

When he turned 13, he started looking into joining the ninja academy to try out something new, because it seemed interesting. He stayed in the ninja academy for quite a while and really enjoyed himself, meeting lots of new friends and girls. He hoped that after he graduated, he’d be able to go to new places so, when class time came, he tried to pay close attention. It came close to the long awaited graduation time in the ninja academy where those who did well the whole year would pass on to Genin rank. It was an exciting time for Rumiko, or at least it was supposed to be.

Genin Arc (13-15)

The day of graduation is when Rumiko got news that his father went on an escort mission gone wrong. No specific details were giving except that there were no survivors. Rumiko didn’t care at all. It wasn’t like his father was home anyway. However, even though he felt this way towards his father, he couldn’t help, but feel like a part of him was missing.

Graduation came and went and Rumiko passed onto Genin rank. He didn’t feel bad that his father died, but more like hate. Now that he died, his mother acted different. She would be happy once Rumiko got her attention, but sometimes, when Rumiko came home early from a mission, he’d see his mother crying by the window and he knew it had to be because of his dad. Not only did he not spend any time with her or him, he had to go off and die like that?

Not letting the hate towards his father get to him, Rumiko continued doing his shinobi duty and spent less time at home. Less time to notice that something was terribly wrong with his mother.

Chunin Arc (15-16)

As time went by, Rumiko noticed that something was going on with his mother. She spent more time crying, and it looked like she was in severe pain. But why? Did she really care that much about his dad? Several months went by and her condition got worse. It was a form of depression that was making her sick. It wasn’t long before Rumiko came home to find her passed out on the floor.

Medical Ninja came over and laid her on her bed. Rumiko accompanied her every night. She was still breathing, still seeing, but barely talking. One morning, Rumiko woke up in the chair he was sitting in next to his mother’s bed to see that his mother had died. Devastated, he wasn’t sure that he himself could go on.

Time went and Rumiko let the deaths of his parents stay in his past. Days passed and Rumiko advanced to Chunin rank, thanks to all the deeds he had carried out in his village, exceeding above most Genin by successfully completing several C-rank missons. One of his most notable achievements that was actually the one that got him promoted, was and escort mission to Amegakure that he carried out flawlessly catching the attention of Konoha's council and Hokage.

Rumiko swore to his mother’s grave that he would become strong and be a better man than his father was. Rumiko continues doing his shinobi duty while still slacking off every now and then. He visits his mother’s grave every day and, occasionally, his father’s.

Genjutsu Resistance

Level I: Allows the ninja to realize if he got trapped in a Genjutsu of the same rank, making it easier to make a plan of escape. Allows the use of Genjutsu Kai. Requires at least Genjutsu Knowledge level I.

Level II: Allows the ninja to realize if he got trapped in a Genjutsu of one rank higher. Also, allows the use of Genjutsu Hakai. Genjutsu of one sub-type require one less chakra to break.

Agility and Speed

Level I: Gives the ninja more speed and agility than average ninja do, which allows them to dodge basic attacks with more efficiency. Requires at least Taijutsu Knowledge Level II.

Level II: Gives the ninja more speed and agility than before, allowing him to dodge ranged attacks, such as shurikens with more efficiency.

Level III: Allows the ninja to use speed related jutsus (Jutsus will have the requirement).

Strength and Power

Level I: Gives the ninja more strength and power then average ninja do, providing more physical constitution, allowing the ninja to sustain more damage. Requires at least Taijutsu Knowledge Level II.

Level II: Gives the ninja more strength and power then average ninja do, which allows them to deliver more damage in their Taijutsu attacks. The strength level of the ninja will be enough to crack stone with an attack.

Level III: Allows the ninja to use strength related jutsus (Jutsus will have the requirement)

Assassination (Free Skill)

Level I: The user is stealthy and clever, able to hide in the shadows and move quietly, giving the ninja an edge. User is immune to Chakra Sensory Level I and is 10% less likely to get caught in break-ins.

Genjutsu Knowledge

Level I: Allows the ninja the ability to use up to C-rank Genjutsu of a single sub-type.

Ninjutsu Knowledge

Level I: Allows the ninja to use basic Ninjutsu (note that some basic ninjutsu have other requirements).

Level II: Allows the ninja to use basic ninjutsu and jutsu from an element of his choice.

Level III: Allows the ninja to use basic ninjutsu and to have two ninjutsu elements. The second will only allow the ninja to use ninjutsu of lower rank than himself.

Taijutsu Knowledge

Level I: Allows the ninja to perform simple Taijutsu attacks, such as punches and kick combos. The Ninja may only use Taijutsu's equal to his level, and may not use a style.

Effects: This technique is a must for any Shinobi. Difficult for some genins, Waza consists of basic manipulation of chakra through the fit. This is done through two ways. First, they may concentrate chakra to their soles to because adhesive, allowing them to walk on normally impossible surfaces, such as walls or a tree. Second, the user may force their chakra downward to act as a method of balance which grants them the ability to walk on water. Both take a constant concentration of chakra, and thus must be maintained each turn of usage for one chakra. This does not require hand seals.

This effect does not break genjutsus, though depending on the illusion may aide them in resisting it.

The Raiokami's body is easily disrupted, however, the user may reform its body by paying 1 more chakra for maintaining. Because it consists of lightning, the Raiokami is as fast as it.\

Effects: A basic earth move that moistens the soil in front of him, and then raises and shoots it at an opponent in the form of a sudden spray of mud. Effects: This taijutsu breaks the limits of the user's speed, enhancing their reflexes and mobility to extremes. However, as grand as this technique is, it is also extremely tiring, requiring a three chakra maintaining cost instead of one point. Requires Level III Speed and Agility.
